Premium memberships and travel

You may not be allowed to access each of your paid membership benefits if you travel to a country/region that is not listed here. Read more about how travelling impacts your membership:

YouTube Premium:

• If you leave these countries/regions, you won't be allowed to download videos, videos won't play in the background and you may see ads. Any videos that you've downloaded before travelling will be available offline for 30 days.
• YouTube Premium members can watch all YouTube Original movies and series while travelling outside of these countries/regions. Background play and download features on this content may not be available.

YouTube Music Premium:

• If you're a YouTube Music Premium or a YouTube Premium member, you get access to your paid membership benefits and your music library in the YouTube Music app. You will have access, even if you're in a country/region where YouTube Music isn't available. The music content that's available to you at home will travel with you for six months, so you can keep enjoying your listening experience. Your downloads will also remain available to you for 30 days without an Internet connection.
• Your paid membership benefits (such as offline listening, background play, ad-free listening, etc.) will only travel with you in the YouTube Music app. These benefits are not currently supported for travelling members in other apps and services.
